Billings County School District – Summer IT Support & Maintenance

Welcome to the Billings County School District’s IT Support Hub, proudly managed by Sm@rt Computers & Consulting. As the school year wraps up, our focus shifts to comprehensive summer cleanup, maintenance, and technology refresh projects across all district facilities.

Our goal is to ensure that every classroom, office, and device is ready to perform at its best when students and staff return in the fall.

Summer Technology Cleanup Starts After School Ends

Beginning immediately after the last day of school, our team will begin scheduled summer IT work, which includes:

💻 Device Collection, Re-imaging, and Updates
Chromebooks, laptops, and staff computers will be reviewed, cleaned, updated, and prepared for the upcoming school year.
🖥️ Classroom and Office Technology Reset
SmartBoards, projectors, printers, and network equipment will be inspected and maintained.
🔒 Security and Software Upgrades
We’ll apply software patches, update security tools, and ensure systems meet compliance standards.
🌐 Network Health Check & Server Maintenance
Core systems will be evaluated and refreshed to support a fast and stable network environment.

Onsite Summer Support Schedule

Our IT technicians will continue to be on-site every Tuesday throughout the summer months. Additional visits may be scheduled depending on project scope and staff availability.
